A nearly dry farmed single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon nestled in the foothills of Mariposa County at an elevation of 3000’. Aged 16 months in new American oak barrels. Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cedar, vanilla and slightly earthy. Full bodied with medium acidity and a long angular finish. - "93 points" Odedi’s Wine Reviews winesipping.Wordpress.com
2014 proved to be yet another drought ridden growing season with well timed, yet minimal rainfall. An earlier than expected harvest along with drastically reduced crop sizes meant up to 40% less fruit coming in than normal on some of our varietals. This meant smaller berries and clusters which would greatly increase the color and structure of the wine.
215 cases produced, pH 3.7, residual sugar .2g/l, abv 14.4%. Bottle aged for 2 years before release, enjoy between now and 2030.
