2014 proved to be yet another drought ridden growing season with well timed, yet minimal rainfall. An earlier than expected harvest along with drastically reduced crop sizes meant up to 40% less fruit coming in than normal on some of our varietals. This meant smaller berries and clusters which would greatly increase the color and structure of the wine.
